Strongbox Scarab Farming Strategy (High Investment)

This strategy focuses on farming valuable Scarabs through Strongboxes using a high-investment setup centered around Ambush Scarab of Containment. The creator combines this with Horned Scarab of Awakening for additional Maven Chisel profits, which currently perform very well in the market.

The strategy is designed for fast mapping and efficient profit generation. Instead of looting every Scarab, the creator only picks up high-value ones to reduce map time and maintain strong currency per hour.

Setup

• Map: Mirage maps with ~80% quantity and ~30% pack size
• Preferred layout: Dunes (fast, open, efficient)
• Uses Scarab chisels because they are currently cheap and add extra Scarab value

• Ambush Scarab of Containment — turns monsters into Strongboxes
• Ambush Scarab of Compartments — 15% chance for Strongboxes to reopen
• Ambush Scarab of Potency — increases Strongbox modifier effect
• Ambush Scarab — adds extra Strongboxes
  • Optional swap: Ambush Scarab of Discernment for more special Strongboxes
• Horned Scarab of Awakening — adds invitation bosses for Maven Chisels

Atlas Tree Focus

The passive tree heavily invests into:

• Scarab drop chance
• Strongbox modifier effect
• Quantity scaling

The creator skips altar investment because Containment maps generate relatively few altars.

Scarab blocking is also important:

• Blocks Ultimatum and Breach due to weak Scarab value
• Keeps Harvest because multiple Harvest Scarabs remain profitable
• Invests into Divination, Cartography, and Heist Scarabs because of current market demand

Heist is included mainly for valuable blueprints and contracts that synergize well with Mirage maps.

Results From 50 Maps

• Total profit: ~194 Divine Orbs
• Average map time: 5–6 minutes
• Estimated profit/hour: ~38.8 Divines

This is currently one of the strongest high-budget mapping strategies tested by the creator. The entry cost is high due to expensive Containment Scarabs, Horned Scarabs, and Mirage maps, but the returns are extremely competitive. Fast players can potentially exceed 40 Divines per hour with optimized gameplay.
