Overview
Uber Incarnation of Neglect is the harder version of one of the three Incarnations, fought at area level 85 in the Moment of Loneliness. The value is not in its unique pool but in the guaranteed astrolabe every kill drops, plus a one-in-three chance at an Orb of Remembrance.
Setup
- Lonely Fragment x4 — consumed each run, placed in the map device to open the uber Moment of Loneliness.
- Run time — about two and a half minutes end to end: the house kill-time estimate of two minutes for a competent build, plus half a minute for portals and loading the fragments. A modelled figure, not a measured one.
The Encounter
- Cold Projectiles — fires three orbs forward that deal cold damage.
- Cold Beam — sweeps the area in front with three or five cold beams.
- Rune Lasers — runes fire cold or lightning beams that inflict Brittle or Sap; in the uber fight statues refract the lasers by angle unless the statues are activated.
- Charged Slam — channels energy into the staff, then slams for cold damage in a large area.
- Falling Comets — comets land in marked areas, dealing cold damage and inflicting Brittle.
- Stat line — 2000% life plus the same again as energy shield, and the area makes monsters take 70% less damage.
How These Numbers Were Calculated
- The method — a synthetic 100-kill sample built from published drop rates, not recorded runs. A 33% chance is counted 33 times and a guaranteed drop 100 times. Expenses are one run's four fragments times the same 100 runs, and the hourly figure spreads the net total over an assumed two and a half minutes per run.
- The rates are estimates — the wiki's uber rates are based on anecdotal drops and preliminary trade listings rather than a large sample, so treat them as rough. Real results over a short run of kills will differ.
- The astrolabe split — one astrolabe is guaranteed per kill: a third of the time a Templar Astrolabe, otherwise one of nine other types at 7.5% each.
No single drop carries this strategy: the Templar Astrolabe, the most valuable row, is under a quarter of the modelled return. The astrolabes together, though, are about three quarters of it, and the guaranteed uniques under a twentieth, so the strategy is effectively a bet on astrolabe prices against fragment prices. The margin over the setup cost is thin, and a modest move in either can erase it.
