Overview

This is an Omen farm built around Ritual, specifically chains of Rite of the Nameless. The creator of the strategy retested Ritual for patch 0.5.5 and found one change that matters more than anything else: Tier 16 waystones now clearly outperform Tier 15. With identical tablets and the same pace, T15 maps came out at roughly 58 divines per hour while T16 maps reached roughly 95. The extra cost is only the T16 waystones themselves, at a couple of chaos each. The data was gathered over seven Rites of the Nameless (42 maps), and another Ritual-focused creator has reported the same finding.

The returns are almost entirely purple Omens from the Ritual tribute menu: Omens of Whittling, Sinistral and Dextral Annulment, and Sinistral and Dextral Erasure. The creator notes that the Omen count looks somewhat lower than in 0.5, so there seems to have been a quiet nerf, but T16 still comes out well ahead.

Setup

  • Waystones: T16, fully modded (six mods). Extra quantity, rarity or effectiveness mods are optional. To the creator, the tribute menu is what makes the money and everything else is small change.
  • Tablets: Two rare Ritual tablets with increased Omen chance (65%+) and reduced tribute cost for rerolling favours. These two suffixes are the ones that matter. The creator prefers reroll cost over Defer, because Defer tablets cost far more and do not bring the item back meaningfully faster.
  • Unique tablet: One Freedom of Faith.
  • No cities needed. All of the tested numbers come from the basic setup without cities. If you do run cities, add a third tablet. The creator suggests one that allows rerolling favours three additional times, since city juice is worth leaning into.

Atlas masters and routing

The preferred master is Jado, for the node that randomly grants 0–40% increased effect of explicit modifiers on tablets. A high roll on the Omen-chance mod means noticeably more Omens and cheaper rerolls. The remaining picks are flexible. The creator takes Anomalous Missions and Unforeseen Threats for corrupted and anomalous maps, plus Mysterious Gifts for cryptic keys. Doryani is a reasonable alternative: irradiated maps, plus cleansing corrupted areas. Ritual can revive cleansed monsters, which then have a chance to drop Fracturing Orbs.

Two routing tips stand out. The new Abyssal fissures span six maps, the same length as a Rite of the Nameless, so you can lay a Rite along a fissure and farm Abyss on top of it, including the Abyssal Depths-style finale. Cleansed areas also pair well with Ritual, especially when juiced with Viridian Wildwood wisps, for the extra Fracturing Orb chances.

Who it suits

This strategy suits a player with a build that can clear T16 Rites of the Nameless at about four minutes a map. The setup is simple and cheap compared with the returns, and the tribute menu handles the profit.
