What to Farm in Path of Exile 2

Admin

October 12, 2026

There is no single best farming strategy. There is only the one that fits what you can spend, what you want to earn, and what you can survive.

Start here

How to choose a farming strategy

Four things decide it, and they pull against each other.

In Path of Exile 2, most setups cost under two divines. A couple cost around fifteen divines every run. Some farms are one item and a portal. Others need a stack of omens and a routine you follow every map. None of those things move together, so the right pick depends on which one you care about.

The best-paying farm at the moment is also one of the hardest fights in the game. But the next two pay almost as much at one step lower difficulty, and the safest farms still pay well. So pick the thing you care about most, then take the best option in that column.

Setup cost
What one run consumes. In Path of Exile 2 this is low for almost everything, so it is rarely what stops you.
Profit per hour
What the run is worth once you have paid for it. The biggest number is rarely the right pick on its own.
Difficulty
How likely the encounter is to kill you. A death mid-run turns a good rate into a bad one.
Complexity
Omens, tablets, things to remember every map. Separate from difficulty, and often the opposite of it.

Here are the four short answers.

Most profit per hour

~100div/h

One Raven's Reflection, about a divine and a half. It is one of the hardest fights in the game.

Cheapest setup

<1chaos

One Breach Tablet lasts you several maps. The fight is one of the easier ones here.

Lowest difficulty

~49div/h

A Tier 16 waystone and a Delirium Tablet, for a few chaos.

Lowest complexity

~100div/h

The same one. Buy the item, open it, fight. If you want a simple setup with an easier fight, take Omen of Light Abyss Farming instead.

Every one of the sixteen strategies on the site makes money at the moment. That makes this an easy time to try something new. The real choice is how much risk you want to take for a bigger number.

The Raven Trickster tops the list at around a hundred divines an hour, off a single Raven's Reflection. It is rated the hardest difficulty, so it pays that well only if you kill it cleanly every time. About half of that rate arrived over the last week, so it may not hold.

The two Rite of the Nameless farms pay almost as much, cost about a divine, and are one step easier to survive. T16 Rite of the Nameless Omen Farm pays a little more than the City Chains version. The catch is the bookkeeping. Both are rated near the top for complexity, so expect a routine to follow every map. If you do not mind that, either one is a safer pick than the Raven.

Abyssal Trove Cranium Farming is the best-paying farm rated a three. It earns around three quarters of what the top farm does, for a fight that is much less likely to kill you. Delirium Boss Rush costs next to nothing to run and still pays well, if you can handle a run of delirium bosses back to back.

Spending more does not buy a better rate.

200% Delirium Splinter Farm costs around fifteen divines a run in Delirium Tablets. It pays less than four farms on this table that cost about a divine or less. It still makes money, but only run it if you already have the tablets.

Here is what the three cheapest actually ask you to buy. Some items last for several maps, so a run only uses part of one.

Budget Delirium Splinters Farm is the one to start on if you are new. A few chaos buys you around 49 divines an hour at one of the lowest difficulty ratings on the site. Omen of Light Abyss Farming and Budget Breach Catalyst Farming cost even less and are just as safe. They pay a bit over half as much.

If you can handle a hard fight, the same pocket change goes much further. Delirium Boss Rush costs about a chaos and earns more than any other budget setup by a wide margin. Grand Expedition Remnant Rush and The Aberration Farm are just as cheap, but both are rated the hardest difficulty. Do not let the price talk you into them on an unfinished build.

If you have a divine or two to put to work rather than a few chaos, take T16 Rite of the Nameless Omen Farm. About a divine a run gets you one of the top three rates on the site, as long as you are happy with the extra bookkeeping it asks for. Every setup in this guide pays for itself within the first hour, and almost all of them within a few minutes.

Why the cheapest setups look so cheap.

Several of these items sit at a chaos or less, which is close to as low as a price goes. A tiny move in one of them looks huge on paper. Treat the setup costs in this section as “next to nothing”, not as exact figures.

No strategy in Path of Exile 2 carries the lowest difficulty rating, so a two is as safe as it gets. Three strategies have it, and all three cost a few chaos or less. Budget Delirium Splinters Farm pays the most of them by a clear margin. You run a normal map with a Delirium Tablet and pick up splinters as you go.

Omen of Light Abyss Farming and Budget Breach Catalyst Farming are the other two. Both are map mechanics rather than bosses, so you can back off when things get busy. Omen of Light is also in the simplest tier, which makes it the easiest farm on the site to pick up and run.

A step up in difficulty is where this section gets interesting. Abyssal Trove Cranium Farming is only rated a three, and it out-earns everything but the top three farms on the site. If your build is solid but not finished, this is the strongest pick in the whole guide. The Bodach is the easiest boss on the list, if you would rather learn one fight than clear maps.

Watch the Ritual Tablet price.

Fracturing Orb Farming with Sacred Bloom still pays well, but it has dropped off a lot since earlier in the week. Most of its setup cost is a Ritual Tablet. Check that price before you commit to a night of it.

The Raven Trickster is one item, open it, fight. Nothing about the setup is complicated, which is why it wins this section as well as the profit one. Nothing else this simple comes close to its rate. The next best pays well under half as much. The catch is the fight, which is rated the hardest difficulty.

If you want a simple setup without a hard fight attached, Omen of Light Abyss Farming is the only one rated a two. It costs a couple of chaos. Breach Catalyst Farming is one step harder and pays a little more.

Simple is not the same as safe.

Four of the six simplest strategies are boss fights rated four or five. A boss you buy a key for needs no planning, which is exactly why the planning is not what stops you.

Farming strategies to avoid

Nothing is losing money at the moment. These three ask the most up front for what they pay.
StrategyProfit per hourSetup costWhy to think twice
The Arbiter of Ash~37~167c~16 divThe most expensive setup on the site, and a top-difficulty fight.
200% Delirium Splinter Farm~63~157c~15 divFour Delirium Tablets a run. Delirium Boss Rush pays more for about a chaos.
Vessel of Kulemak (Empowered)~30~54c~5 divAbout five divines an invitation for a rate the budget farms match.

Every strategy on the site makes money at the moment, so none of these will leave you poorer at the end of the hour. The problem is what they risk. A death in The Arbiter of Ash throws away around sixteen divines of fragments. A death in a budget farm throws away a few chaos.

If you already have the fragments or tablets, go ahead and use them. If you would have to buy them, a farm from the sections above will earn you more for far less risk.

How to read these numbers

Profit per hour
Divines per hour at the current Divine Orb price of 10.50 chaos. If the divine price moves, every figure here moves with it.
Setup cost
What one run consumes, priced at the current value of each item in the setup. Items that last several maps are counted as a share of one.
Difficulty
Rated 1 to 5. How likely the encounter is to kill you. Path of Exile 2 strategies currently run from 2 to 5.
Complexity
How much setup and bookkeeping a strategy needs, rated 1 to 5 and kept separate from difficulty on purpose. The two disagree often, which is why they get separate sections above.
Accuracy
Prices move every day, and item prices come from the most recent recorded value rather than a live trade search. Every figure here is rounded and frozen at the date on this post — treat it as a guide to the size of a number, not a quote, and check the market before you buy a stack of anything. Live figures for every strategy are on the top strategies page.
