Overview
The creator of the strategy farms Expedition logbooks that contain the boss Vorana, Last to Fall, then converts the resulting artifacts and Exotic Coinage into currency by haggling with Tujen. It is a long-standing, low-complexity strategy the creator returns to most leagues to fund a build early, and it needs no atlas investment beyond Expedition itself. The creator is emphatic that Exotic Coinage should be spent at Tujen rather than sold, since that is where most of the value sits.
Buying Logbooks
On the trade site, search for logbooks with "Area contains Vorana, Last to Fall", set area level to 82+, and set corrupted to no. At the time of recording these sat around 50-60 chaos, and the creator treats anything under roughly 65 chaos as a fair buy. The boss is the whole point: it drops a large volume of artifacts and rerolls, which are what actually fund the Tujen exchange.
Preparing the Logbook
- Blessed Orbs reroll the additional chest markers modifier. The range is 8 to 16, so keep a roll around 15.
- Scour and Alchemy until the logbook lands around 70% or more item quantity and roughly 30% pack size.
- Only keep what your build can genuinely clear; a high-quantity logbook you die in is worth nothing.
Running It
Take the logbook to Dannig and open the Vorana area. Target the circular artifact markers, and read the remnant mods before placing explosives: bright blue is a buff, dark blue is a debuff, and increased artifact quantity found in chests is the buff worth chaining toward. Avoid debuffs that are lethal to your build. Locate the boss marker (the helmet with glowing blue eyes) and detonate it last, so the full explosive chain feeds into its rewards.
Spending Artifacts at Tujen
The creator argues that both common approaches are wrong: buying only top-value items wastes rerolls, artifacts. The balance is to take valuableand semi-valuable items while skipping junk.
- Basic currency, but only the worthwhile tiers
- Influenced maps and Blight maps; other map types are optional
- Deafening essences only, plus Insanity, Horror, Delirium and Hysteria
- High-level, high-quality gems (21/20, 20/20)ghten
- Blueprints, fragments, oils, andmost scarabs early in a league while they still hold value
The creator maintains a spreadsheet of exactly what to accept and what to pass on, linked in the video description.
